Dear Dense Dome,

Let’s try something a little different. I call it “Mean Green”.

Ingredients:
7 oz can green chilies (drained set liquid aside).
TIP: When buying canned green chilies, buy whole not diced. You tend to get a better quality of chili.
4 oz can sliced jalapenos (drained).
1 small clove garlic chopped or pressed.
2 tsp Chopped onion.
1-1½  Tbl. Fresh chopped cilantro.
1/8-ish tsp seasoned salt.

Place chilies, jalapenos, garlic, onion, cilantro and salt in a small food processor or blender.
Puree until smooth. If mixture is too thick and sticks to the side of the blender, add enough liquid from green chilies until it can be blended smoothly.

This is a great accent to any taco, burrito, quesadilla as well as I fine dip for chips.
For a fresh twist on your new favorite green chili salsa, try squeezing in a little fresh limejuice to take it to a different plane of existence.
